A069 From album "A - This town". "This is my town. The town where I was born. I had happiness to live in the middle on the town. I was walking to much and have seen the special environment around myself. There are so many rivers and channels in the St Petersburg. All this water and fog in air, and the waters reflexions looks like a watercolour's paint. Here were living the famous russian writers as a Brodsky and Dostoevsky. And I am looking at my town of the greatest authors's eyes. In these pictures we are feeling the touch of history.

This presentation is by Alexander Arefyev whoes service for Art has become a sense of life. Yours devoited painter had happiness to born in St Petersburg in 1959. The childhood wasn't empty time, because the parents have seen in their son that he was able in drawing and thinking. The surroundings at home was sinking into the "world of cognition" and later it's gave the result as a studing in the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. The show wasn't long and the study was perfectly finished in 1982. Duaring the learning a student has getting the best gift of all, the high education to european stile, that was very difficult to do in the Soviet Union's epoch. While the studing in college a student was disregarding the boring subjects and used this time for a walk out on plener. The Plener - air... The St Petersburg with its foggyes and weather's changes. The ripple on the rivers and on the canals. The light's shining is reflected in the water. An air environment and a colour's mobility is tending much charm. Everything transters yours mind from reality to images. The natural's motives are organically connecting them with architectural objects. The predominance of move makes connection between yours feelings and mind. Everything in this mood is the sign for watercolours, for impression, for jazz and for bluz. It's very important for persepation of actuality to onlooker and to hearer. The Japan culture has got a "Zuihitsu" that means: "follow the paintbrush". The touch of author's paintbrush to the paper gives the life to the paper more and more... The turning of paintbrush brings the new passage of thought. If the paintbrush is mooves faster the feelings become more intensive. The author of "Zuihitsu" doesn't give the answer for the question: "Where the line is going now, and where it will be later". The preference devoted to the water colours. The themes of creation have got so signs as a towns landscape, a nature, a still-life, a nude nature. The St Petersburg of Brodsky and of Dostoevsky; the canals, roofs and courtyards. The embankments and briges. "The squares of windows, the semicirkle of archs." The natural, a still-life, an air environment, a smell of grass and a fragrant of the flowers. The taste of fruits and a voice of sea. The nude nature is the line's turns that gives life to the thinks. The creation of presented author is large. With the best wishes, A. Arefyev. P.S.
