About The Artwork
One of the most universal feelings is that of affection for another. They can arise subtly, feelings for someone else and surprise us when we realize them. There are many forms of love, but the one that compelled me to create this piece was new love, the beginning of something. It can be the most confusing feeling but it can also be the most pure. Embracing that feeling, I created this. Kevin Garrett provided the soundtrack so essential to my work. The song is called "Colouring." Just as his slow music and soft vocals coloured my mind, so too did I create form and colour what was in my heart.
