Pop Series

The Pop Series is from a series based on the abstraction of exploded water balloons. The colors and shapes of water balloons in the aftermath of a kid's party drew my attention. First as photographs, then manipulated in photoshop, and finally painted on canvas. The bold and graphic nature of the imagery spoke to me, and the Pop series hatched.
