Alice Karow

I am blessed to have had the guidance of some amazing teachers who emerged from the Bauhaus, Abstract Expressionist and Arts & Crafts movements. In the past, I've worked in pottery, printmaking and painting. Now I use the gifts I've been given, to carry on the spirit of the lineage of my teachers, while of course transforming it into my own art.

I love color and am dedicated to beauty and spirit. I love collaboration with the elements (as in raku pottery) and feel driven by the power of emerging image ideas to create new forms. My purpose and intention is to engage with beauty because it opens people's hearts (including my own), and to invite others in to that experience. I believe that the Divine speaks to us through beauty and insight.
