MLC SymM+R BGO 18 is recent painting created in my new Blue Building studio at Primary, Nottingham UK. This work is a development in the on-going Continuum Series of artworks, continuous linear forms, constructed from mirrored and rotated negative lines. MLC SymM+R BGO 18 is a complex multilayered Sym of four superimposed forms with linear under layers exposed through negative lines, inferring 3 in 1 structures. Using Michael Harding Oils on Fabriano. 160 x 40 cm / 63" x 56" For international sales, due to size and weight of bespoke welded aluminium frame and the tempered glazing, the work will be sold unframed and shipped rolled in archive paper in a double tube. If purchased by a UK collector, the work can be made available in it's original frame of bespoke welded Aluminium and glazed. This would be crated, additional price on application.

Marek Tobolewski'’s work continues to entrance and mystify... CiS is the most impressive show of Tobolewski’s I have ever seen ... his artistic practice seems to be a never-ceasing journey along a single path, continually striving for new insights and perfections." Andrew Cooper-NVA Ed Drawing underpins my practice, it deals within both the formal process of abstraction today and its historical continuity. The ongoing Continuum series of works are concerned with spatial portals held within symmetry and reflection, of rotated and mirrored linear forms. The linear ’Syms’ are continually evolving and endlessly being reinvented … “I return to existing works, adjust structures and refine each individual flow of a line in an attempt to hold a balance between movement and stillness.”
