Distorsions" is a serie of paintings, where the observer is watching a landscape (urban or nature) from a car while it´s raining. The interesting part is that the landscape goes to the background and the rain drops become important. Sometime not even the material rain drops are important but the colors and the forms on the glass, which transform a realistic landscape into an abstract painting. At the same time, the observer has several experiences, the close up of each and every rain drop, the landscape and its atmosphere and the game of colors and forms, all at once... it´s a play between reality and abstraction, but also an invitation to focus on small details and realize that beyond the whole picture there´s another world, the World of Water. It is an invitation to contemplation and to discover that each drop is unique and ephemeral, like everything in nature, like us
