the magic of spring in london!! USED TECHNIQUE REVERSE PAINTING ON PLEXIGLAS. The technique that I used in these paintings is personnal development of an old technique a painting with oil on glass. The pecularity of the matter is that it is painted on the reverse side of the support, and the results are seen for the front. First, you paint the foreground put and you this fininished with the background. The innovation is that one uses the plates of the metacrilate instead of glass for a longer lasting result and exchanging the oil paint for acrylic and enamel which allows more opportunity to play with transparences and graphics and increase the adherence to the support it.

Maria Bejarano, with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, continued her artistic curriculum in different schools of Italy and Great Britain. She has had numerous exhibitions in national and international art fares. Her works of art can be found at the National Library, Seville Town Hall, Ibercaja or Cajasur Banks among other relevant private and public institutions. She currently lives and works in Madrid, searching new trends on artistic communications in new resources with industrial materials such as aluminium and metacrylate. Durante su trayectoria ha expuesto en numerosas exposiciones y ferias nacionales e internacionales, su obra se encuentra en colecciones como la Biblioteca Nacional, Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, IberCaja o Cajasur entre otras. Actualmente desarrolla su trabajo en Madrid donde reside, buscando en nuevos soportes de caracter industrial como el aluminio y especialmente el metacrilato nuevos lenguajes plasticos.
