VIEW IN MY ROOM
In the oil masterpiece "One Day After the Rain," the artist offers an intriguing interpretation of a subway car in Mexico City. The scene, set after a recent rain, is illuminated with flashes of light that bring the composition to life, accentuating each detail with a special clarity. At the center of the painting, a man engrossed in his phone becomes the visual focal point. However, reality fades around him uniquely. Some parts of his body detach into lines that intertwine with the surroundings, while seated individuals, also depicted in lines, dissolve into the surrounding urban scene. What sets this artwork apart is augmented reality (AR), breathing life into the painting. By using a smartphone, the viewer can witness how the artwork comes to life, innovatively merging traditional art with contemporary technology. "One Day After the Rain" becomes a window into time and reality. The visual breakdown of figures underscores the fleeting nature of moments, while the integration of AR points to how our perception of reality transforms with the passage of time. The artwork is a visual exploration that goes beyond the tangible, inviting contemplation of the intersection between the physical and the virtual in our ever-changing understanding of reality.

Mexico
Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
