The Fifth hommage I made in honour to Wasiliy Kandinsky. A few weeks ago I was at his exhibition. I wrote the feedback with photos in my Instagram profile earlier. You can easily find it. ⠀ I like Kandinsky for his shapes, lines and colours. I like how he reduces figurations and leave pure ideas. He researched colours and wrote books about them. Now his texts and paintings are global art and philosophy heritage. ⠀ Kandinsky, Malevich are suprematists. Their ideas live in all modern designs from logos to illustrations. ⠀ I took from Kandinsky a shape⚡ that I saw in his notes during the exhibition and added my own ideas. ⠀ On my painting, I wanted to play with contrasts: textured hard blue and soft yellow, lines and dots, tiny and sharp feelings, complementation of purple and yellow, orange and blue colours. ⠀ Of course, ⚡ is a male hero, so I made it with the molecula's shapes. And ⭕ is a female person, i made it with the petal's ornament. __ Signed on the back. Ready to hang
