Steam locomotive, New Delhi Railway Museum, India. This creation was executed using black tonality in a digital composition juxtaposing the background with geometric shape overlays in a motif meant to instill a sense of random order while embracing a measure of fluidity that can stimulate a flux in eye movement. This artwork is available as an archival Giclée print in a hand-signed, limited edition personally printed under strict control by the artist in his Bangkok studio on an Epson 9900 digital printer using the highest quality Epson archival inks and acid-free fine art photographic canvas with an approximate life span of 200 years when displayed in normal circumstances out of direct sunlight. Each canvas print is delivered with a signed Certificate of Authenticity verifying that no other prints will ever be issued once the edition number at the respective size is exhausted. Prints are rolled and shipped unframed in sturdy tubes. Upon receipt they should be framed by a professional framer in your area. Enough extra canvas border is included for full wraparound mounting on standard 2cm stretcher bar frames.

I’m a vagabond travel photographer roaming the globe searching fine art; I’m driven by a penchant to add a sense of visual order to urban chaos. My digital photographic artworks typically incorporate composited images of repeating hierarchical patterns found in architectural facades, windows and doors—photographs that I often merge with elements such as heavy metal machinery or steam locomotive details—image constructions that are blended with various grungy urban textures in a transparent, multi-layered arrangement. Occasionally I introduce bold color graphic elements like circles, squares or triangles placed with an eye to create order and balance and typically incorporating an aspect of subliminal rotational spin. I have a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During the past three decades (except for two very brief periods) I maintained no permanent residence while I photographed more than a hundred countries. My focus was to capture iconic travel photography that is represented by Getty Images through which my imagery has been published in excess of 100,000 times in most of the world’s leading travel publications, including National Geographic and Conde Nast Traveler. I’m the original founder of the Stock Artists’s Alliance, a trade association that represented photographers worldwide in an exhaustive effort to challenge big business in their pursuits to infringe upon photographer’s intellectual property rights and fair remuneration. I’m also active in the Soka Gakkai International (SGI), a lay Buddhist organization dedicated to the promotion of global peace, the respect and dignity of all cultures and the fostering of quality education.
