Sable. The moon-shaped island lost in the Atlantic waters off the coast of Nova Scotia. Preserved in its natural state. No roads, no infrastructure other than a couple research buildings, and a rich wild life of seals, birds and horses. A place out of time with constant changing weather and light. This young man and I stared at each other for a few minutes. Taking in the relief of the breeze in the heavy longing humidity. A moment of stillness when I was trying so hard to express that I was not a foe. It's safe buddy, you can go. * Part of the 'Equorum' series. Limited edition. Signed and numbered.
