Emotion spread like fire on a dry summer field, engulfed in yourself and the state of things, insufficient is being done to correct it. Alienated we move painfully forward. These group of photographies are the documentation of the process of caring a massive log through one point to another, It is a two-part project composed of photographies and a traditional carved sculpture. The project is a claim against the alienation of the self toward the environment, to bring back the personal engagement with the landscape. This type of questioning and fragility of the circumstances can be overwhelming however it should make us reflect on yourselves, being more present in nature and aware of where things came from. When thinking back on human behaviour being aware of what it takes, mentally and physically, to have something, to build, to create, as we became alienated from the process of nature. There is an interconnection between species and environment that goes beyond survival. Nature is idealized as a non -human touched environment, becoming separated from reality but nature is a reality in itself, is everywhere around us, is something that can be reached, touched and belong to. Just changing this approach can have a massive impact on conservation.
