This painting was inspired by The fictitious story of the creation in the Bible. This is satarical narrative as to how Adam and Eve ended up wearing fig leaves to cover their genitals and cover their naked ness from god . I have God in this painting telling the seamstress angel to stop sewing the fig leaves as he has found a ocelot printed fabric (the one he is holding in his hand )will cover them better I chose to do this as added narrative to the fiction of Adam and Eve

As a visual artist I follow my own muse . The artworks that I create are a contemporary form of art primitive . My muse helps me create satirical narratives with exuberant , colours , motifs and textures . My art is a cross cultural form , reflecting my country of birth India and my adopted nation Australia. I studied fashion and design at Shillito design school Sydney . My teachers were Phyllis Shillito ( first head teacher east Sydney technical college now the national art school ) Peter Travis , colourist ceramic artist and the man who created the iconic swim wear label Speedos . The schools curriculum followed the Bahaus method. After my studies , I was employed in the fashion industry till the year 2007 ,it was then , I decided to start my creative process as a visual artist . I have exhibited in several group shows . I was a finalist at the border art prize. I have sold my art in the tweed regional gallery , the Channon gallery and the serpentine gallery in Lismore NSW . I won first prize at the Tursa art competition. I exhibited regularly at the Channon gallery for 4 years till the gallery closed . I had a solo exhibition in 2018 , which was received well by the viewers of my art works .recently I have sold my art on saatchiart . The owner of the Channon gallery the late Peter Boyle wrote the following about my art on the gallery website “ Theodore’s work is a joy to have in the gallery , his humour , naughtiness and deep sense of satire associated with contemporary culture and social themes of this country, brings a smile or laugh , but also challenges the rhetoric we are fed “ I hope the viewers and buyers of my artworks will experience the joy and pleasure that I received while working on each of my creations.
