"Landscape" Painting

BIO My name is Alessio Mariotto, after studying art (Art Institute, Academy of Fine Arts), I worked in an advertising company and later in the logistics field. During these 20 years I have always painted and drawn in my free time, as I started doing when I was a child. The desire and passion to make art then took over, and almost unconsciously but with great determination I began the artistic journey full time, leaving the past behind. All this has made me face and understand new and even unexpected situations that I have always faced with the utmost commitment. In addition to art, I have read a lot about classical Greek philosophy and have composed musical pieces for clubbing and disco-house. PROJECT STATEMENT My work is focused on the abstract vision of reality and nature. Its interpretation must be made through the senses and meditation and on the individual capacity of each of us to have a critical sense in front of the proposed image. The paintings proposed by me are this: an understanding of nature and personal experiences filtered by my language. My representations do not follow the fashions of the moment but originate in a study defined in some historical and cultural contexts. For example, the study of color fields, or the study of some figures in the world of minimalism "less is more". My art is therefore aimed at all those people who, in addition to appreciating aesthetic aspects, are also looking for meditative and historical and cultural aspects. My works radically change the appearance of environments because they generate in the observer the curiosity to understand. They also perfectly embrace modern interior designs.All this becomes almost indispensable for those people who want to amaze and marvel at what they have hanging on the walls of their home. I try to createon your home with respect and discretion, bringing you a work made by my hands that will accompany you every day with its questions and answers that only you or your closest loved ones can give.
