This photo(Personality Disorder) is from a series of portraits created in a distinctive visual style that represent symptoms of mental disorders in a metaphorical way. The contrast between the costume design and the decomposing background represent the way we see these people, the way they see themselves and the world around them. ICD-9 - F34.1 (Chronic Depressive Personality Disorder) People with depressive personality disorder have a gloomy outlook on life, themselves, the past and the future. Self-concept centers on beliefs of inadequacy, worthlessness and low self-esteem. They are negativistic, critical and judgmental toward others.
