Hidden obvious Photo series about mixed races inspired by the song "Um índio”, by Brazilian singer and composer Caetano Veloso. I'm a photographer, and photography is my only means of communication. I accept my inability to explain feelings and emotions with words, but I sincerely endeavour to do it through images. The song "Um Índio” by Brazilian singer-songwriter Caetano Veloso inspired this series of photos. He gracefully teaches us in this song about the power of simple things, nature, respect, purity, and the beauty of races and how they can become uncommon when mixed. I chose an impenetrable yet common white stone to represent this message. Hello, I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Working with photography has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager, and it has gradually become a reality over the course of more than thirty years. I began learning photography through various courses and, later and more importantly, by assisting generous masters and my Brazilian idols in their photography studios. Still life and food photography are the majority of my commercial work for advertising agencies, direct clients and magazines, but since my assistant days I have been doing personal work to which I have dedicated myself more intensely and lovingly in recent years. I honestly feel that images can be used to tell stories and, if done with power and honesty, can affect people deeply, perhaps even move and transform them.
