Serenity in Shadows Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

A poignant portrait of a Thai transgender woman, bathed in the interplay of light and shadow within an abandoned house. This image is part of my photo series "Fallen Angels," which portrays Thai transgender women in Bangkok, Thailand. When I arrived in Thailand in 2014, I was captivated by the unique and enigmatic beauty of many Thai trans women. Inspired by this beauty and driven by my unwavering belief in justice and equal rights for all, I embarked on this project. Through a series of fashion-inspired photographs, I explore themes of beauty, gender, self-acceptance versus social acceptance, struggle, courage, and hope. Transgender individuals inspire me deeply as they courageously and determinedly pursue their true identities despite considerable challenges. While I don’t expect my photographs to change minds overnight, I hope that by creating and showcasing this project, I can contribute to supporting the LGBTQ+ community's fight for equal rights. In doing so, I also stand in solidarity with any minority group combating oppression, occupation, and discrimination around the world today. Each archival pigment print is produced on museum-quality fine art matte paper with a 5 cm white border for easy framing. Prints are signed and numbered on the back and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
