“In my search of re-discovering things, I so far have found Art.”--------------------------------------------------------------------------Nice to meet you! My name is Wendy Busser. Born in 1985 and living in The Netherlands.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Looking back now I always was artistic/creative. But as life goes, after graduating, I was focussed on a corporate career. This overshadowed my creative side for a long time.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------At that time I didn’t think that much of it. So I was focused on making a career in corparate life, but then I got a reality check and depression kicked in. I had to find things that made me happy/ gave me energy again.-------------------------------------------------Somehow this all resolved in the fact that I started painting… I was exploring my artistic side again!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Every artwork, that I create comes from within. When I start painting it is as if my inner self gets aligned with all the artmaterials, which results in my art. -----------------------------------------------------Creating something new, all kinds of inner feelings surface and making art is for me just the absolute form of feeling free. Through my abstract art I want to evoke emotions of others as the artwork does for me. -----------------------------------------------------------I want my artwork to draw you in and take you on a personal journey of imagination.---------------------------------------------------My first artpieces don’t have a title or name, but only a number. After some soul searching to the question, “Why I didn’t want to name my art?” I came to two conclusions. One; because I wanted my art to speak to your own imagination. And I didn’t want to influence what you saw in my art by the title I gave it.--------------------------------------------------------------------------The second reason, when I am really honest, is that I am still in the process of finding my own artistic voice. And it is pretty scary to name my creations. All my art comes from within, and naming them means/ feels like exposing my inner feelings, being vulnerable. Conclusion I haven’t named each artpiece, but I’ve decided, months after creating them, to name these series “The Nameless Series”. Because these artpieces, as told above, do have a story.
