sculpture 40wX 57hX15d base: 137 Hx 50 Wx 73D tree branch painted & installed on a wooden base -Ready to hang can be installed with or without the current base- easily detachable. The Raven: it is a bird that flies over the houses of the city and seems to be watching everything, loves goldenshiny objects and hides them somewhere, then forgets about them. In the human genesis, it was the first creature to teach the hand to bury (it was then that Abel - the son of Adam - was killed by his brother) This original, handmade, vibrant and unique creation is sculpted and painted. Papier-mâché technique, environmental friendly materials, professional acrylic paint and Windsor oil and other mixed media you will receive it ready to hang. This poem is an allegory, represents the search for divine perfection, the birds of the world gather to choose their king. The hoopoe, the wisest of them all, suggests that they should find the legendary Simorgh.he leads the birds, each of whom represents a human fault which prevents humankind from attaining enlightenment. crossing 7 valleys (search, love, knowledge, detachment, unification, wonder, privation) before reaching the Simurgh. These valleys symbolize the stages that a Sufi must cross to draw the true nature of God. During the journey, lots of birds die. Finally, the thirty remaining birds approach the place where the Simurgh lives. All they see is their own reflected image like in a mirror. In the end, the birds learn that they themselves are the Simorgh; “Simorgh” in Persian means thirty (si) birds (morgh). They eventually come to understand that the majesty of that Beloved is like the sun that can be seen reflected in a mirror. Yet, whoever looks into that mirror will also behold his or her own image. The birds represent the terrestrial animal that can rise up to the sky, as the man’s soul is able to rise from the Earth towards the divine.

Persian/Canadian Painter born in Tehran, currently living in Florence, Italy. Permanent artist in wikiarte gallery- Bologna Award-winning artist, in national and international contests, artworks published in important Italian ( such as reviews & articles on national newspapers, catalogo della arte moderna vol 50, 53,54,55) and Persian catalogues. My artworks are mostly inspired by ancient Persian poetry. They are very expressive and carry oriental art. My original creations are mostly made of acrylic, oil and mixed media. Acrylic helps a lot with the texture I use. I mix it with oil sometimes for its brightness. I am an artist and I consider myself a storyteller too. I am the link to Persian tradition in a completely contemporary way. I want to preserve its lyrical depth and introspective ability. I consider the artistic research an introspective analysis. When I paint figures come to the surface as from a mystic vision. Beauty reveals itself in symbolic shapes. They find a place on the canvas and remind the viewer about the importance of feelings.
