The painter Nikos Papaloukas is interest in Man, Place and Light in the broadest sense. His themes are taken from contemporary everyday life, with references to modern history, mythology and poetry. His works are distinguished by purity and immediacy, with forms that are simplified and structured in the absolutely necessary. His creative expression is solved using mainly local colors and simple geometric shapes, it represents things in their most primitive form. In his compositions he combines, more or less abstractive, different kinds of perspective with a geometric idiom, creating a painting space with noetical implications.
