Colors and patterns on animals serve as a means for them to blend into their surroundings, enhancing their survival chances. The varied sizes of lined paper affixed to the background of the painting symbolize habitat destruction, a contributing factor to species extinction. The wolf exemplifies a species affected by such habitat loss. This artwork paradoxically juxtaposes the concept of animal camouflage with habitat degradation. Animals can effectively camouflage in environments abundant with vegetation, concealing themselves from both prey and predators. However, with diminishing vegetation or drastic landscape alterations, animals lose this camouflage advantage, becoming more vulnerable to detection. Glass ink was employed to achieve the drip effect in this artwork, while ballpoint pen was utilized to accentuate and render the drawing visible. This artwork will be provided without framing or hanging hardware. However, framing is recommended for optimal presentation.

I first encountered art during my GCSE Fine Art studies, but it was after completing this course that my skills and creativity truly blossomed. My artistic focus centers on animals, plants, and landscapes, often drawing inspiration from reference images. These references are either photographs I've taken myself or pictures obtained from previous works. My preferred media include oil paint, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and monochromatic drawing techniques.
